Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to providing excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain food safety and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
