SUMMARY:Charting A Course Forward 2022 - 2026 Labrador
DESCRIPTION:Under the leadership of the NL Tourism Board\, and with the support of Destination Labrador and the other Board partners*\, are developing a new Provincial Tourism Vision and Strategy. \n\nThe goal is to identify new strategies and tactics designed to grow the visitor economy of the Province from 2022 through 2026. As the planning process evolves\, your valuable insight is requested\, and a series of virtual regional consultation sessions are planned. \n\n\n\nAs industry and government come together\, against the backdrop of unprecedented declines in global travel\, now is the time to rally together to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure the long-term viability of the tourism sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. To successfully chart the course forward requires cooperation\, collaboration\, open minds\, and creative thinking. It is with confidence we must move forward together\, keeping our eyes focused on the beacons of success to prepare for safer passage on calmer waters in the not-too-distant future.\n\nAn online portal has been set-up to secure stakeholder perspectives that will inform identified actions from all recovery activities. We want to hear from you! Click the feedback link below.\n\n\n\nNow is the time to rally together to chart a course of recovery. We look forward to calmer days\, knowing our collective resilience will serve us well and ensure on-going success.\n\n\n\n*(Partners: NL Department of Tourism\, Culture Arts\, and Recreation\, ACOA\, Hospitality NL\, Regional Destination Management Organizations)
